KITTENS, KITTENS, and more KITTENS ! ! ! They come in all ages, shapes, sizes, colors and activity levels. It is impossible to watch or play with kittens and not smile, laugh and forget all your troubles. Kittens have great emotional therapeutic value. Kittens are an over-the-counter prescription much better than Prozac! To learn more about these kittens, view their personal webpage under OUR ADOPTABLE PET LIST.To see many more kittens, visit our adoption facility.

News

Please spay and neuter your pets to prevent unwanted and unplanned litters. Rescue groups are bursting at the seams with unwanted pets. Check in your community for people active in trapping/spaying & neutering/releasing feral or stray cats. There is some financial assistance available. Be a Life Saver!

AAARF still has some real cuties that are under a year old to choose from. If you are looking for a youngster, now's the time to come take a look!

All AAARF felines have been well socialized, box trained, are accustomed to being inside ONLY , have been spayed/neutered, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, have age appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

AAARF has a 100% return policy.

Pet Adoption Days

AAARF's Isabelle Torsak Memorial Pet Adoption Center is open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and by special appointment. Dogs are shown Saturday Only! Or by special appointment.

Not all animals on the website are shown at the adoption center every week. Not all animals in AAARF's foster care homes are on the website. Many animals are kept in foster homes. Your e-mail inquiries are forwarded to the appropriate foster care person for a response.

Adoption Policies

AAARF takes pride in quality adoptions and works hard to create the perfect human/animal match. Our adoption policies are strict, but our 100% return policy requires us to make the right match from the start.

Prior to adoption, AAARF cats and dogs are microchipped with HomeAgain, have had physical examinations by licensed veterinarians, are spayed/neutered, have had age appropriate vaccines, are behavior tested, many have had their teeth cleaned, have been bathed/groomed, blood and urine panels done and fecal checks. Dogs are tested for heartworm disease and are negative at adoption time. Cats are tested for FelV/FIV and are not offered for adoption unless they are negative for both.

Our adoption fees vary, depending upon a variety of factors. AAARF is proud to offer healthy animals for adoption, but we do pay a price for assuring you of that..
